We had a family party and it was low key and laid back. Darryl made mini pizzas and we had lots of other munchies and punch. Thursday, May 16, 2013. On Mother's day we spent the afternoon at the Arboretum in Chanhassen. It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon and the girls spent the afternoon exploring and running. Monday, April 21, 2014. Yesterday we celebrated Easter many times over! We started our day at church with my parents and Colby, then had Easter lunch at my parents, and then headed home for naps ( I edited pics while everyone else slept). After naps we headed up to Darryl's parents for our last celebration of the day. The girls loved finding eggs and their baskets. The weather was a 10! It was 77 degrees, no wind, and just gorgeous! Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Noah's 3rd birthday party! A couple of weeks ago, we had Noah's birthday party. We decided to do it at another location. I was not really feeling up to getting hosue ready, plan a party, make food and then clean up. Since Noah's really likes to bowl, we had a bowling party. It was SO much easier than having a party at my house! And I think everyone had a great time. Here are some pictures from that day! It was a fun party! Friday, April 22, 2011. Getting ready for Easter! Tonight the kids and I colored eggs and decorated some Easter cookies! The kids were pretty excited to see the water change when dying the eggs and thought it was pretty cool that they could help. While decorating the eggs, they mostly licked the knifes (don't worry, I used different knifes when I frosted the other cookies)! Tomorrow is Noah's birthday party and then Easter on Sunday, which the kids are getting anxious for! So she sat and watched us.

Thursday, September 23, 2010. Yesterday we went to the apple orchard. It is my favorite thing to do in the fall and I look forward to it every year. This year we tried one right by our house. William decided he wanted to be a mailman again this year. Okay by me, no new costume to buy or try to convince him to wear. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Today we got our first snowfall and boy did we get hit! For me, it is actually depressing, but for the kids, they couldn't be more thrilled! The kids had a great time this morning "helping" Mike shovel. In fact, Mike is back out there shoveling and Caeden is right by his side! Halloween ( a little late). William loved climbing up on the tractors out on display, he literally climbed up on all 20 of them one by one. William enjoyed some rides at the fair the buggy cars were his favorite.
