Monday, August 31, 2015. OKC for Patriots' Football Game. Mel and I headed to OKC for Jacob's first football game with the OKC Patriots. We decided to make an adventure out of it. First, we stopped at Wynnewood for Oklahoma Round-up Vintage Market. I had seen it advertised so we checked it out. $5 admission was for a child that was being treated at the Shriner's Hospital and redeemable at the food booth there. The OKC Patriots Game. It was fun being together to cheer for Jacob and the Patriots team!

Friday, May 15, 2015. All 5 on the Farm - Mathew's Birthday. All 5 grandkids came to the farm for the week-end - a fun time for all! Mathew had chosen to come to the farm for his birthday and his favorite meal. A stop at Braum's on our way home. Ready to help Grandpop. The girls helped me in the house. We were preparing Mathew's birthday meal - chicken fried steak with all the trimmings and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Wow - It's hard to believe he is 14! A fun time we had! Saturday, August 30, 2014. Checking out the tarantula. Ollie, the Horse. Grandpop had discovered Ollie, the horse, at Hydro, Oklahoma. After visiting with the owners and asking many questions, it was decided we would check out the horse. The question now was: Did the kids want to go or not? Tuesday, August 4, 2015. The Girls on the Farm, Wednesday, July 15th. We began our morning with coffee, then had Pop Tarts for breakfast. The girls filled the hummingbird feeder, checked tomatoes, peppers and watered for me. After visiting Grammy it was time to do to the Senior Citizens' and deliver food. At the Center waiting for the food to deliver. Great helpers with the food! After lunch at home we went to see The Minions. With snacks now ready for the movie! The handsome guy with his 3-D glasses!

Thursday, April 23, 2015. Our Easter at Home on the Farm. Easter on the farm included ham, potatoes, baked beans, hot rolls and of course, our 44th bunny cake. Easter - a time to reflect and celebrate our risen Savior and what that means for us as his children! The Elliottt Family hosted an Easter Brunch for the family.
