James W., Ray, Ian and Kathryn we're going for a 50m dive, in the dry! It was very cosy inside and as soon as the door shut they started to blast in compressed air and as we descended it got very hot and sweaty. The humidity was at 100% at 50 m the doctor said it will get very foggy when we start to ascend a few minutes later we had...

Dive Reports from Bushey and Borehamwood Sub Aqua Club. Wednesday, 1 August 2012. Swanage, July 2012. Well, where do I start? This was my Dive Leader training trip and I wanted it to be a good one. I happened to pick the same weekend as the Swanage festival making things more challenging. Once safely back on land we had lunch on the pier whilst watching the Red Arrows display, which was fantastic. I really could not have asked for anymore from this trip. Bring on the next trip. what to do next?

Bushey Divers: April 2012
http://busheydivers.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Dive Reports from Bushey and Borehamwood Sub Aqua Club. Sunday, 22 April 2012. Blue lagoon Arlesey, April 2012. Last Sunday Phil, Ben and Gary had a dive in the "blue lagoon Arlesey". The dive itself was pretty uneventful with poor vis, being only about 3-4 mts . This was due chiefly by all the rain we have had and also by a couple of other clubs at the site. The lake is situated in the village of Arlesey close to Baldock, 35min up the A1, though no facilities at the site it makes a good alternative from...

Bushey Divers: October 2013
http://busheydivers.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Dive Reports from Bushey and Borehamwood Sub Aqua Club. Wednesday, 23 October 2013. Portland, October 2013. Anticipation mounted as I felt the RIB cruising over the water, I felt myself falling backwards into the heaving sea and descending down the shot line like a pro. The cool water ran over the exposed parts of my face as I finned with perfect neutral buoyancy, my trim and technique equal to that of an Advanced Diver. Divers around me were in awe. I was amazing! The Countess of Erne was a great dive!

Bushey Divers: Plymouth - August 2014
http://busheydivers.blogspot.com/2014/08/plymouth-august-2014.html
Dive Reports from Bushey and Borehamwood Sub Aqua Club. Sunday, 10 August 2014. Plymouth - August 2014. Last week a group of us went down to Plymouth, the plan being to dive the off shore reefs from Falcon of Dartmouth, a boat and skipper that a few of you know. As luck would have it Ben's leave from the navy coincided with the trip so he was able to meet us in Plymouth and join the trip. Despite the disappointment of losing a days diving it was a very enjoyable trip. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
