I highly UN-recommend abdominal surgeries. Joel (Bob) and Dresden. The kids love building things, so we took advantage of that enthusiasm and had them build DNA models out of licorice and skittles. We loved them immediately, and that love grew over the next 4 days. We had a lot of hard times, but the bonding and increase of our family's faith was worth it. We had our first major dust storm. I was totally unprepared. I had heard of these dust storms/sand storms, but I naively thought if I stayed inside I would be fine. I was wrong. This was crazy! I had to go to the hospital for my shift, and in the 2 minutes it took me to walk there I was literally covered in dust!
