From 4 January 2010, G’zen 501 will be enhanced to loop at Lorong 7 Toa Payoh, serving Lorong 6 Toa Payoh, Toa Payoh East and Lorong 7 Toa Payoh before returning on its original journey. In addition, the frequency will be enhanced to 4 – 8 minutes. With the enhancement, residents along Lorong 1 and 3 Toa Payoh can travel to other parts of Toa Payoh more conveniently.

From 1 October 2008, XYGinc will introduce a new fare and transfer rebate structure. The structure has been reviewed and put in place after considering the situation of our economy this year. The following are the changes:. 1 cent increase for trunk fare stages below 29, for card-paying adult passengers. 295-32 fare stage replaced with 29.5-35.
