We looked at each other, and decided this was a bit creepy, to say the least! Later discussions led to more research on exactly what had happened to Andrew. Initially the information was slow coming, but with the help of relatives and Andrew's surviving siblings, I managed to put together a fair bit.

Story of this Site. 1 This is the initial internment of some of the crew of EE872, and also some of a crew from 9 Sqn flying a Lancaster ED666 with letters WS-G. Took off from Bardney (? With them are two members of a 106 Sqn Lancaster W4922, took off from Syerston. They were lost the same night (5/6 Sep '43) in a raid on Mannheim. Any information or contact appreciated.
