Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Earlier this month, I met my sisters Steff and Lisa in Los Angeles for a girls weekend. Emily couldn't make it because of work and school and we really missed her. We hope she can join us next year. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncle in Redondo Beach. The weather was perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We had so much fun! Each morning we headed to the beach for a morning jog. This was our view, absolutely beautiful! Jogging on The Strand in Manhattan Beach.

Sunday, July 29, 2012. I can't tell you how long I've wanted to see Jersey Boys and so when I heard it was coming to Portland, I was beyond excited. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Brunch on the Bridge. Today is Jeff's birthday and to celebrate we participated in Brunch on the Bridge yesterday. It was so much fun! Portland closes down the Hawthorne Bridge for a few hours and they put grass and trees on the bridge so it looks like a big park. Everyone brings blankets and food. Now every time I drive over the Hawthorne Bridge, I'll remember our picnic spot. The entrance to the bridge. It was a little overcast, but still a nice day. The view from our blanket.

Sunday, September 9, 2012. Long Beach, WA. In August, Jeff and I took a weekend trip to Long Beach, Washington. It's about two hours from Portland. We didn't know what to expect since we had not been there, but we ended up loving it. Long Beach is such a cute little beach town. When we planned our trip, we had no idea the weekend we picked was Jake the Alligator man's 76th annual birthday party and boy was it a party, more on that later. We stayed at the Adrift Hotel. This store is brand new and opened by Chris Burch, Tory Burch's ex-husband, I love Tory Burch and I'm sure I'll love Chris Burch as well. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Now that Jeff is done with school he is able to spend more time cycling. Last weekend he rode in the Petal Pedal in Silverton, Oregon. He rode 100 miles! It was his first century and I think it's an amazing accomplishment! Way to go Jeff! Just crossing the finish line. So happy he's accomplished a century! Enjoying dinner after the ride. Sunday, June 10, 2012. Last Monday Jeff graduated from OHSU with an MBA in Healthcare Management. I'm so proud of him and all his hard work!

Tuesday, July 17, 2012. I love Portland in the summer, it's my favorite time of year! A couple of weeks ago, I took a bike ride along the esplanade. It was such a beautiful day!
