Busy Betty and the Cocker. Friday, August 10, 2012. Rocky Mountain National Park, Bear Lake. He gave us his card in case anyone hassled us. Really good guy! This is our spot in the parking lot this morning! Bear Lake ( Yes I did hike to it. 253 ft.). Tomorrow we'll take the Trail Ridge Road through the park. Of course I had no make-up on and had no coffee, but we were off to do the La Sal Mountain Loop. Breathtaking.again! Busy Betty and the Cocker. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The Man's "Crack of Dawn" Hike. Oh yes. He did get up at 5:30 in the AM to do this hike! Where do people like him come from? He thoroughly enjoyed it! Here are his pictures. Switchbacks before the top. Almost at the top. the real top is behind him to the right! That hump is the real top! The bottom part of the trail. It was such a great way for him to start the day. Now we're off to the Grand Canyon's North Rim. Have a wonderful first day of August!

Busy Betty and the Cocker. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Zion National Park. BEAUTIFUL! A perfectly wonderful day! I have been to Zion before, but I guess I forgot just how incredibly beautiful it is. This morning, we drove on the Zion Canyon Road through the park. WOW! Here are some of the pictures. Look at how these rocks were formed! Layer on layer on layer. And the flowers still grow on rocks. Every time you go around a bend, there's another amazing vista! This one has columns! Court of the Patriarchs.
