The Life and Times of the Thomas Family. Saturday, July 24, 2010. Our Fourth of July. Since the Fourth of July landed on a Sunday we had a weekend full of activities. First was a trip. To the Zoo on Friday. It was military appreciation days, So we got in for free, which is very nice. Then on Saturday we spent the morning at the West Bountiful parade. We sat in our usual spot in front of Pony Haven. While we were waiting for the parade to start the girls were given free pony rides. July 24, 2010 at 5:19 PM.

What I learned from the Festival and listening/talking to authors yesterday. 1) Rejections will come. 2) Eventually someone will read what you write. 3) If you are SERIOUS about writing you must Submit your stories/novel even if you get rejected. 4) Rejections give you a thicker skin. That seemed to be the information passed around the whole day. Also, the guys at Archaia are AWESOME! Thanks guys, the graphic novels will definitely help in the classroom.
