Cheesemaking started in the farmhouse kitchen. Every inch of the house was utilised and for a while even a bedroom had to become a cheese store! This morning I went out to a local coffee shop and ordered my usual Latte, it cost me 2.80 and it was ordinary! I want to share my joy of this coffee with you. News for September 2012. Amazing Cheese Wedding Cake. Posted on September 15th, 2012. Today one very happy customer sent us the result of a unique wedding cake she built…out of cheese! The cake comprised a base of Goulds Cheddar, Red Lecister and Double Glouster whilst the middle layer was a full 2.5kg Blacksticks Blue. Finally the cake was topped by four Ravens Oak cheeses, with their white rind giving a lovely contrast to the deep orangey hue of the Blacksticks Blue. Exciting News From The Grocer.

Trotter Hill – The only cheese for a sandwich….
