本農園位於楊梅與新竹交界處，鄰近揚昇高爾夫球場，距楊梅交流道約10分鐘車程。整個園區位於海拔約300米高之山腰，受節氣影響，四季有明顯的變化。 園主對於園區之規劃施作均以維護自然生態為目標，故保留原有梯田，以生態工法施作，未做過多的開發。所種植的多屬原生植物，均為昆蟲之食材或蜜源植物。 豐富的昆蟲生態（如甲蟲、蝴蝶、蛾類、蜻蜓、青蛙、蛇、鳥類…等）及植物生態（如原生植物、水生植物、寄主植物及蜜源植物），是我們很好的敎學題材。主要與學校自然課程結合，提供學生鄉土體驗課程，讓小朋友充分觀察、瞭解自然的奧妙、進而向大自然學習。有許多的發明家、藝術家及文學家，都藉由觀察大自然，來尋找創作的題材。活動課程有園區生態導覽、大地遊戲、彩繪昆蟲及各項DIY、烤肉、露營等活動。
