Jelly Jam: February 2014
http://jellyjamdorset.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, 20 February 2014. Spring cushions at Mini Magpie. Firstly, thank you all for your welcome back messages! It feels good to be blogging again and catching up with everyone. Well I promised to show you what those pastel ribbons were for. I've used them to trim the backs of some Spring cushions. A major fabric tidy up and sort out in the autumn made me realise how many lovely vintage fabrics I had featuring baby animals. They get their own drawer in my cabinet! We have pink rabbits, lambs and ducks.

http://jellyjamdorset.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, 29 March 2013. A busy 10 days making. Goodness, I hadn't realised my last post was 10 days ago! I feel a bit out of the bloggy world and will be catching up with your news over the weekend. Work and Jelly Jam have both been busy as we hurtled towards the end of term and Easter. Those of you who found Jelly Jam's Facebook. Page will have seen (and purchased) some of these things already - sorry for the repetition! As well as sewing there has been some spraying going on. Not my idea but pinched...

Rheidol Shawl – Happy Thimble
https://happythimble.wordpress.com/free-patterns/rheidol-shawl
Live, laugh, love and create. When the lovely Ali from Butterfly Bright. Sent me some yarn to play with I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it – and so Rheidol Shawl was born, named after the river that flows past my family home in Wales. Now you can make yourself one! Pm = place marker. Sm = slip marker. Yo = yarn over. K2tog = knit 2 together. RS = right side. WS = wrong side. 2 Balls of Amitola by Louise Harding (any self striping yarn would work well for this). 2 k3, sm, purl to last 3 sts, sm, k3.

https://missyreemakes.wordpress.com/2016/03/22/february-pattern-haul
March 22, 2016. March 22, 2016. I am sorry for taking so long to post this, but where has March gone? I didn’t really buy much fabric in February, mainly because I am trying to use the fabric I already have (which isn’t going to well, it’s rather hard to stop buying fabric…! But anyway, here’s what I’ve bought. It’s one of those little places that I only seem to remember when I drive past it! So I decided to have a look around. And they had fabric! How cute is this strawberry and daisy quilting cotton?

January Fabric and Pattern Haull. February 8, 2016. February 8, 2016. I seemed to have bought quite a bit of fabric this month, well more than I usually do! Mainly because I am determined to create a handmade wardrobe for myself, and have felt really inspired lately. Plus flicking through my pattern collection and seeing how much fabric I need for each one before going to the fabric store really helps! So here’s what I bought:. Blue checked brushed cotton. So I went back and got it a week later! Which br...

My life with food intolerances. August 8, 2016. A couple weeks ago I went out for dinner, and this was my dessert. An ice cream filled summer fruits meringue, which is one of my favourite things to eat. But there is just one problem. It makes me sick. Every. Single. Time. I cannot eat gluten or dairy. And it sucks! I had many set backs, especially when it came to getting a take out with the girls (pizza) or a bagel from the cafe. But I did it! 8211; Ginger ale (I can’t live without it now! Even though it...
