Thursday, June 18, 2009. Once the buds open, the soft delicate leaves grow quickly. In the sunlight they glow bright gold. Everything is new. What happened in the past, is in the past. http://amazingtrees.blogspot.com/2009/06/new-leaves.html
Thursday, June 18, 2009. New Leaves: The Beginning. Maple tree in bloom. I've always been drawn to the soft bright green leaves of spring and the rich symbolism behind it all. I figured what better way to start a blog featuring my favorite tree photos than to start off with the New Leaves Series I did this spring. It's Spring. Time to open up and bring forth vivid chartreuse shoots of leaves and flower buds. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New Leaves: The Beginning. Ramblings from a Detailed Thinker.

Nature's Eye Candy: Starting Off: Nature's Eye Candy: Small things
http://natureseyecandy.blogspot.com/2009/06/starting-off-natures-eye-candy-small.html
Thursday, June 18, 2009. Starting Off: Nature's Eye Candy: Small things. Enjoy the small things that make a big difference in our lives, whether it be a tiny anthill on the sidewalk, an empty milkweed pod along a path, the rough scaly texture of tree bark or the whispy ethereal glow of sunset clouds. There's beauty to be found in everything, if we just take the time to see it. All the seeds have drifted off to start their own lives. Now all that's left is this empty nest.
