http://herewegrowagain.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 01, 2015. This morning I read back over my blog from 2009, Mavery’s first heart surgery with us. We have come so far. Right before we left for the hospital. I walked in my door from China at 11:30PM Wednesday evening, the 29. This was not the ideal timing situation, obviously, but it was the only time that worked with the surgeon. Here is the good th...

Here We Grow Again: May 2014

Friday, May 02, 2014. Syler's First Birthday HOME! When we birth children, or adopt them as infants, a first birthday is such a big milestone. We plan for months. We celebrate all the firsts that have happened over that year. We are in awe of how that newborn has changed from such a helpless being to a one year old covered in cake! You can’t look back on newborn photos and remember tiny toes. Sometimes you can’t look back on ANY photos. BUT, you DO get a first birthday HOME, no matter the age! That makes...

Here We Grow Again: April 2015
http://herewegrowagain.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 06, 2015. Happy 1 year Syler and Mercie! Can’t even believe it. It seems like just yesterday and forever ago all at once. When you first meet your new children, or even after being home a few months, you can’t help but think ahead to that one year mark. You know life will be a bit easier, more settled, maybe calmer. The calmer part is just a crazy dream I always seem to have even when adding more children. Life IS a bit easier in many ways. It IS more settled. He brings the beautiful to mind.
