Tuesday, 28 January 2014. Northern Cross Country Championships Kinder Trail. Three Tod Harriers travelled to Knowsley to compete in the prestigious Northern Cross Country Championships. The persistent heavy rain of recent weeks ensured a mix of mud bath and bog underfoot. Nick Barber had a great run finishing 138. In 4935 in a race won by last year’s bronze medallist Dan Garbutt in 41.17. Next in for Tod was Robin Tuddenham in 277. At the Kinder Trial on Saturday 25. Place in the Ladies V50 category.

Six Todmorden Harriers made the trip to Hayfield for the 16 mile event, including 3300 feet of climb. Craig Stansfield was the first Todmorden Harrier home in 2.15.02 finishing in 16. The sole Todmorden lady was Kirsty Patten who finished in 117. Place in a time of 3.23.33. John Allan was 46. Finisher and second Todmorden male home in 2.35.32. In 238.34), Guy Witmore (81. Todmorden Harriers Road Championship continued with the Great Langdale Half Marathon, with three Harriers making the trip on Saturday. Sunday, 1 June 2014. There was a healthy Toddie turnout for Edenfield Fell race on Saturday 31. May The course turned out to be very runnable. Andrew Wrench was 4th overall in 47.48. The men’s team won the team prize, with Craig Stansfield as the second counter finishing 9. Overall in 49.33. Rob Gray was 3rd counter in 54.20 (24. Position). Monday, 24 March 2014. Midgley Moor Fell Race Wilmslow Half Marathon. 34 Todmorden Harriers made up more than a third of the runners in Calder Valley’s Midgley Moor Fell Race. Lucy Burnett, Kath Brierley and Jane Leonard took the ladies team prize with Tod men Ivan Gee, Ben Crowther and Paul Brannigan finishing second to Calder Valley.
