The Cigar Box: Macanudo Hampton Court
http://thecigarbox.blogspot.com/2006/03/macanudo-hampton-court.html
Cigar News, Views and Reviews. Saturday, March 18, 2006. Despite the lack of cigar vendors in Israel, I was able to enjoy a Macanudo Hampton Court. Today courtesy of my father. As promised, it was a very smooth, mild smoke that didn't last too long, but long enough to allow me to read my morning paper. The cigar had a very pleasant earthy and woody flavor. I will definitely be smoking the Macanudo Hampton Court again in the near future. Posted by Ryan Jones 2:39 AM. Hoppe we can comunicate in the future.

The Cigar Box: Overpriced no more
http://thecigarbox.blogspot.com/2006/01/overpriced-no-more.html
Cigar News, Views and Reviews. Tuesday, January 17, 2006. In Havana a box of 25 Cuban Esplendidos cigars, for example, costs less than 100. In the UK the same box can cost up to 700.". Wow someone is going a little overboard. Well, at least Europe will (probably) be able to enjoy top quality hand-rolled Cubans at more realistic prices. In the near future. One day, America, one day. Just gotta get rid of that Castro guy first. Posted by Ryan Jones 10:12 AM. Then go to cuba and start living there.

The Cigar Box: March 2006

Cigar News, Views and Reviews. Sunday, March 26, 2006. Enjoyed a lovely AVO. XO Preludio the other day. While I didn't find it quite as smooth as the before-mentioned Macanudo, the AVO was a unique experience. At least for me. The flavor was very woody, which I like, and ended with a bit of a spicy bite. There was definitely a lot of complexity there that I will need to hone my cigar palate in order to fully enjoy. Cigar smoking is starting to really take off in India, thanks primarily to Indian "cigar czar" Chetan Seth. Seth apparently has sole distribution rights for premium handmade Cuban cigars in India.

The Cigar Box: July 2005

Cigar News, Views and Reviews. Tuesday, July 26, 2005. Your new "go-to" cigar? Top 25 Cigar last month reviewed the Jericho Robusto from Caribe Imported Cigars. The reviewer, with visions of headlines such as "Jerich-NO", had hoped the cigar would bomb, but ultimately was forced to award a B- grade. The Jericho has a tendency to edge towards dryness, but several readers pointed out a little time in the humidor eliminated that undesirable characteristic. Posted by Ryan Jones 10:23 PM.
