But Moffat's purpose was not to try, a third time, to heal the wound so the show could move on - bound to fail once again - but instead to unmake the act of wounding and give the show a new core. Musings from Sphenodon on, mostly, beer, whisky, food and music. Other rants as and when I have them. So this is christmas. Had a great time pre-xmas up in Scotland. Started off better than expected by flying out of Luton, which was pretty quiet. Pottering around galleries, parties and great food/booze. Too much of both. As usual, GoMA. We left Queen St station about an hour before the tragedy. Which we didn't hear about until much later in the afternoon since we'd gone direct to SMWS for lunch.

Monday, April 20, 2009. One is a normal foot, one is mine. Guess which is which! Turns out that one of the times I sprained my left ankle, I actually broke my foot. I have to go see a specialist and possibly have surgery/bits of metal/moonboot/crutches etc. So now I am awaiting paperwork from ACC so I can figure out which time I did it, and if I can claim ACC and go private. Otherwise I have to go public and wait who knows how long. Here are the three contenders:. My money is on number 1. Sam's at netbal...
