November | 2007 | Bwix in Cameroon
https://bwix.wordpress.com/2007/11
I don’t know why anyone would want to read something I write. Archive for November, 2007. November 22, 2007. Not to worry we will be celebrating Thanksgiving today. We bought 11 chickens yesterday and killed them this morning to make up for our lack of turkey. To Cameroonians it is a “feast of getting fat.”. I have returned from my site visit. I will write about it more when I actually get there. We are back to training, which with less than three weeks remaining has become a lot of work. Or there are nu...

I don’t know why anyone would want to read something I write. Archive for October, 2008. Death in the Family. October 3, 2008. With that background in place. I left my house Saturday around 3 in the afternoon for a meeting at the center. That morning I had seen Grande-pere at the house and made the usual small talk with him. I had even brought back. Should I hang out more? Should I stick to my normal routine? Okay I’ve written enough. Have a good day, i’ll write again soon. Ben. Blog at WordPress.com.

I don’t know why anyone would want to read something I write. Archive for February, 2008. Fete of the Young. February 20, 2008. And than next to that their test result. 139 people took the test and there were three positives. For the 136 this system probably wasn’t a problem, but the 3 people who resulted positive? February 5, 2008. February 3, 2008. 1/13/08-Actual day I wrote this. I think this is about the longest I’ve gone without using the internet. I am doing good. Sometimes bored out of my mind.

I don’t know why anyone would want to read something I write. Archive for June, 2008. June 5, 2008. May 27, 2008. I have come to really enjoy Cameroonian food, even though when I first arrived it all would have disgusted me. I now look forward to certain dishes and can eat everything as fast as other Cameroonians. But eating with a family does give me my share of surprises. When I’m called to dinner I come in and Grand Pere is usually already sitting there with the food in front of him, in covered pots.

Camerooned: The CAMTEL Customer Service Model
http://camerooned.blogspot.com/2008/11/camtel-customer-service-model.html
The experiences of a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, where disappointment turns to appointment. Thursday, November 27, 2008. The CAMTEL Customer Service Model. Customer service is a bit of an oxymoron in Cameroon. For whatever reason, most Cameroonians don't get the idea of customer service. Generally service here is slow and surly. Recently, however, an incident involving CAMTEL. This bastard should be fired.". It sounds like you are deeply in love with Cameroon. :). November 28, 2008 at 9:03 AM.

The experiences of a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, where disappointment turns to appointment. Friday, October 24, 2008. I've settled back into Buea easily. I've been putting in a fair amount of time working with my host institution, a local NGO called LINK-UP. That tries to help impoverished children and orphans in several communities in Cameroon's Southwest province. My work with LINK-UP has so far revolved around two main areas. The first is a new micro-credit. So, that's what I'm up to these days.
