Observing Nature in Bridlewood Ranches. The Gray Fox Our Own Native Species. The Gray Fox is the only canine with the ability to climb trees where it seeks refuge and food. Piercing the silence of the night. Unlike the Gray, the Red Fox is not native to Texas. In fact, it is very rare in Central Texas and verified sightings here are unusual.
