ByGone Stitches Stitchers: My take on Quaker Christmas
http://bygonestitchessal.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-take-on-quaker-christmas.html
Quaker Virtues and Quaker Christmas SAL. Monday, May 4, 2009. My take on Quaker Christmas. Ok, here's my progress on Quaker Christmas. I'm playing with my colors a bit. I added Midnight blue. I just couldn't resist the bird being blue. Am stitching on 32 ct 1/1. Kim Van De Riet. May 5, 2009 at 5:57 AM. May 7, 2009 at 10:07 PM. May 8, 2009 at 9:30 AM. Oh that is just beautiful! I love the colors you are using and I love the blue bird too! July 11, 2009 at 4:16 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Quaker Virtues and Quaker Christmas SAL. Friday, July 17, 2009. I hope you all are well and busy stitching. Show us some updates when you have a moment to spare. I am officially more than halfway done. I still love stitching this. Working the occasional letter or number of the contrasting color is a great pick-me-up. The lighting always seems to be poor when I get around to taking pictures so it doesn't look as good on screen as it does in person. You can see more of my pics at Flickr.

Quaker Virtues and Quaker Christmas SAL. Sunday, May 31, 2009. Quaker Virtues - Take Two. Well, I stitched, and I pondered. I didn't like the fabric with my silks. So after a fair amout of thinking, I scrapped my original plan. Take Two on Quaker Virtues - New fabric, main silk the same, accent silk had to change too. I am much more pleased with this combination. Here is the progress for take two. I am now using Sandcastle 36ct by Silkweaver and the silks are Belle Soie - Spring Violets and Lily Pad.
