Excerpt from Sins of the Father. Lucian whispered something in that nebulous language that Aaron didn’t understand, “Bendithia 'r blentyn , achub 'r blentyn.”. Lucian ignored him completely and wa...

Writing ideas, thoughts, what's new, where I'm going and where I've been. Sunday, February 12, 2012. Following short stories have been released. Please check them out! Annie and Edward lived in their own worlds and each was perfectly happy with the way things were. Until one day Edward decided it was time to ask the beautiful lady he saw on the front porch to go on a walk with him. Could this be the beginning of the perfect romance or just one more journey on a road often traveled? So did Billy Kelton af...

Writing ideas, thoughts, what's new, where I'm going and where I've been. Wednesday, April 18, 2012. GUEST Brooklyn James, Author. THERE'S A GIVE AWAY IN THIS POST! How Tough Is Too Tough For A Heroine? In my thriller/suspense trilogy, Vigilare,. DeLuca and Gronkowski have a palpable chemistry going, a playful flirtatiousness that's fun to read. Their interaction, both among themselves and with almost everyone they come in contact with, is fast and funny.” –Gabino Iglesias, Austin Post. 8217; I always wa...

Monday, June 27, 2011. I have so many awesome places to be on this tour, I can't keep up with myself! My two current stops are Young Readers. And We Fancy Books. Hope your Monday is treating you well. :-). Sunday, June 26, 2011. I think I lost most of the weekend to a Netflix marathon of BONES. I feel a bit smarter, though. The weekend may be coming to a close, but the fun is just beginning for me. And for you, if you come see me at A Chick Who Reads. For today's stop on the REPLAY blog tour. Sue: The ep...
Paper Mustang: Borrowed Lives by Kevin Crouch

Supporting Indie Authors -! Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Borrowed Lives by Kevin Crouch. This is one of those rare books that combines magic, time travel and coming of age love story. I really liked Crouch’s concepts of how time travel works for his protagonist, Ray. It was well written and the plot moves along nicely. I enjoyed how the author was able to incorporate the concepts and issues surrounding time travel into his story to make it entertaining and not confusing. Don’t miss it! NATE GRANZOW http...

Supporting Indie Authors -! Thursday, October 17, 2013. A Fist Full of Fire by Misti Wolanski. This is a great love story and pretty untypical at the same time. I had fun reading this book and realized quickly I’d have to pay attention to make sure I didn’t miss any queues. The characters were believable even though from different races and I like the intertwining of races versus environment illustrating that we can all get along. What made this unique were definitely the characters and the setting.
Paper Mustang: Freedom's Sword by Jeanne Tomlin

Supporting Indie Authors -! Sunday, November 10, 2013. Freedom's Sword by Jeanne Tomlin. Set in old Scotland it had my attention right away. This is a setting that I’ve used many times in my own writing and one that I particularly love. The author remains true to history and follows a knight that should be king through his trials and tribulations. It is extremely well written and the descriptions as well as characters are truly believable. Http:/ jeannetomlin.blogspot.com/. Reviewed by Sue Owen. You ll f...

Supporting Indie Authors -! Sunday, June 16, 2013. The Child of Egypt by Jason Underhill. I literally could not put this book down. From the very beginning it gripped me and held me tight. I absolutely had to know what was going to happen. This is an epic journey as a boy becomes a man but it is so much more. Throughout his travels, you will discover along with Acharat that life isn’t always going to go as planned. It opens your eyes in a way for which you will be completely unprepared. Supporting Indie Authors -! Saturday, June 16, 2012. Hollywood Cowboys by Mike Chinakos. This book was a pleasant surprise. Chinakos weaves real life events, characters and scenes in with what the normal world would consider fiction. Following the Hollywood Cowboys cast and crew around my home town made me stop and wonder. Are they really just making this up? Could there possibly be any facts behind this supernatural craze? I just loved the way the story unfolds. How about a zombie party? Check out this ...

Supporting Indie Authors -! Monday, April 16, 2012. Agartha's Castaway by Chrissy Peebles. This is a delightful romp into what could be. Even though it was all explained eventually it was nice to explore a world of possibilities as the characters moved from reality to could it be true to that’s impossible. I very much enjoyed the journey with them and was sad when it ended. As an adult reader, however, I found the constant bickering between the boys became annoying beyond belief. Reviewed by Sue Owen.

Supporting Indie Authors -! Saturday, March 8, 2014. Before True Light: The Awakening by Sarah Buchynski. This is a delightful coming of age story in a time when you truly had to know who you were. It has a nice setting and the story moves along pretty quickly. I like the author’s use of description to paint a picture of what this world is like and how there is no doubt who the heroine is but some doubt as to how she’s going to fulfill her destiny. There's nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and open a vein." Walter Wellesley "Red" Smith. Saturday, September 24, 2016. Now, if I add all the additional marketing stuff, including the conferences I should attend, then we are well into 20 hours a week territory. If I didn't have a full-time plus type of job, plus extra responsibilities at home, I wouldn't worry so much. But. I worry. So, how many words have I written so far this year? What commitments do I have? Em and Theo are as...
