Slow cookers (slight rant.). Slow Cookers are trendy right now - and there's some very reasonably priced ones - so I've had a poke about and come to the conclusion I don't want one. You can come home to a cooked dinner. Yes, if I want to prepare everything before I leave the house at 6.45am. Given I often fail to make toast by this hour, it seems unlikely. It's really easy, you just throw everything in. They make cheap cuts of meat delicious. This feature is of limited value to a vegetarian.

I'm currently on 195lbs, so that's 15lbs to lose by the end of the year. Definitely doable.
