Organizing activities related to senior's need. These activities may vary depending on the needs and interest shown by the members. Routine activities of the Senior's Corner involve:. A Physical exercise, group dance and other physical activities, social interaction, playing cards, games, cultural activities. B Educational activities (computer skills, writing letters, filling out Govt. forms, other type of forms, financial counseling). D Invite Guest Speakers to speak on Senior issues.

Conceived in 1984, the Indian Heritage Society of Brampton (IHSB) is a not-for-profit registered organization incorporated in the Province of Ontario, and is managed by a Board of Directors duly elected by the members, and run by large number of volunteers who contribute their expertise, talents, time, effort and many hours of hard work. Administration

The Board is headed by a President with a number of Directors in the Executive Committee. Specific functions are assigned by the Board to the selected committee members. Accounts are kept by the Treasurer, and the annual financial statements are verified by a duly appointed certified Accountant. The audited accounts, and the budget for the following year are presented to the IHSB members in the Annual General Meeting for review and approval. To be considered for membership, an individual shall have served for three (3) consecutive years as a volunteer to IHSB, and be recommended by one of the IHSB current members, and be required to pay a set one time membership fee. To be an IHSB member of the Senior's Corner, one has to be at least 55 years of age and be required to pay a nominal annual fee over and above the one time membership fee. Associate membership category may be considered as decided by the Board.
