Confessions of a Small-Screen Junkie. Being the online log of what I have watched since 19 February 2007. As if you cared. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Watched this the night before last. Have watched it before. Jim Carrey is good in this, though I don't usually find his OTT style watchable. Ed Harris is superb. And you can't beat Peter Weir. Posted by Graham at 3:38 pm. Confessions of a Small-Screen Junkie. Being the online log of what I have watched since 19 February 2007. As if you cared. Thursday, September 27, 2007. I watched another film! And excellent it was too - I'd forgotten just how well Spielberg keeps up the excitement - and with quite limited resources. Favourite bits: the snake lady. Where did that come from? Oh, and we watched the last episode of the first series of Life On Mars. Interesting. Posted by Graham at 9:25 pm. Monday, September 17, 2007.

Confessions of a Small-Screen Junkie. Being the online log of what I have watched since 19 February 2007. As if you cared. Thursday, November 29, 2007. Watched it at last. Good blend of comedy and excitement - though perhaps a tad OTT on the action. You start to wonder how many times a guy can get thrown against a wall before he gets fed up with the whole thing and goes home. Good to see Stan Lee. Posted by Graham at 5:11 pm. Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Posted by Graham at 11:39 pm. What A Lovely War.

Confessions of a Small-Screen Junkie. Being the online log of what I have watched since 19 February 2007. As if you cared. Thursday, March 29, 2007. The Wachowski Brothers' first feature - and doesn't it show? As is Gena Gershon. But at the end of the film - Do you know what the difference is between you and me? Neither do I. - I was left with a feeling of emptiness that I presume the scriptwriters also felt. Which I guess sums up the picture. (Film4). Posted by Graham at 9:31 am. Tuesday, March 20, 2007.

With acknowledgements to Georges Perec and Gilbert Adair, as well as to Patrick Marber for reminding me about them (and I'm not name-dropping, it was in an article in the Telegraph). Monday, February 27, 2006. I remember wearing only black for a couple of years - not because I was an existentialist, but because I did a lot of backstage work. A Gift from a Flower to a Garden. Confessions of a Small-Screen Junkie. Being the online log of what I have watched since 19 February 2007. As if you cared. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. The Producers, Bowfinger and Young Frankenstein. I enjoyed The Producers more than I expected. It's a long time since I have seen it and I only remember it for Springtime For Hitler so it was good to see the actual build up towards the show. Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder were Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder - which is not a criticism. Welcome to Hard Times.

As before - lots of C&L, Doctor Who has finished so now dipping toe into Heroes (first two episodes last week) and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (pilot ditto). Timeshifted some more films on to DVD for later consumption but didn't watch any of the stuff I saved previously. Must watch a film some day. Posted by Graham at 9:37 pm. Surrey, United Kingdom.

With acknowledgements to Georges Perec and Gilbert Adair, as well as to Patrick Marber for reminding me about them (and I'm not name-dropping, it was in an article in the Telegraph). Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Impressed the hell out of me! I remember seeing Spike Milligan in The Bed Sitting Room at Wimbledon Theatre and how he peeked out from between the tabs and said: "What are all those people doing in my room? I remember being able to buy a quarter of warm salted peanuts from Woolworths. I remember t...
