Keeping up with the Karlssons: July 2014
http://swedipinos.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Karlssons. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Ten Years in Tandem. On Fourth of July weekend Mattias and I abandoned the kids in Milpitas and drove north to Mendocino to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Never ones to celebrate with gifts, we splurged on an ocean view cottage in the village of Elk, and drank our way through the Anderson Valley wine country on the way up. The Elk Cove Inn. We got there early enough to see river otters with babies, nesting cormorants, and baby ducklings and ...

Keeping up with the Karlssons: November 2014
http://swedipinos.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Karlssons. Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Ranking just below Christmas, Halloween is my second favorite holiday of the year. It could be the cooling weather, or the crafting of costumes, or that the entire month of October turns into a conglomerate celebration: Falloween. We don't have the dramatic color changes or larger-than-life Fall festivals we had back in Virginia, but we're finding ways to celebrate. This year, we explored local farms and parks in the Silicon Valley. For the fir...

Keeping up with the Karlssons: December 2014
http://swedipinos.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Karlssons. Thursday, December 18, 2014. Soon after we finished our Thanksgiving leftovers, we hopped onto the Christmas train headed straight for Jul-time Insanity Land. I'm not a huge shopper (I actually become repulsed by retail every November/December), but I am a stickler for traditions. So, the decorations must go up on the first of December! He was right. We got some apple cider, visited the farm animals, and started deliberating on the perfect tree. Last year. In addition to tr...

Keeping up with the Karlssons: March 2014
http://swedipinos.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Karlssons. Saturday, March 8, 2014. For Christmas, Uncle Jonas and Auntie Lauren gave the boys a trip to Alcatraz. We'd talked a lot about the prison on the rock, and they were thrilled to take a boat to tour the prison. We were thrilled that their present required no space in our apartment! We chose to go on Super Bowl Sunday, figuring we would avoid the crowds. Wrong! It also happened to be one of the coldest, wettest, and windiest days this winter. One of the best parts of the muse...

Keeping up with the Karlssons: March 2015
http://swedipinos.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Keeping up with the Karlssons. Thursday, March 19, 2015. A few weeks ago we escaped the city for the redwood forest, less than an hour from the hustle and bustle of the Silicon Valley. Our friend Amy proposed a group camping trip to Mt. Madonna, a Santa Clara County park that rents out furnished yurts amidst redwood trees. 3 families with kids, plus my parents got there just before dark. Just in time to enjoy grilled sausages and s'mores for dinner. Afterwards we had lunch and a surprise birthday party f...

Sunday, November 11, 2012. On October 12th our Dylan boy turned 1 years old! The other thing that Dylan is obsessed with right now is FOOD! Saturday, November 10, 2012. Here are some more pictures from the experience. RB High Football Game. From left to right: Brayden, who is holding an actual fishing pole, Logan, who is holding one that he personally made, and Caden Fisher, also with a pole that he constructed. Stevens Family: April 2013
http://jcstevensfam.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. Each year it is a balancing act with Easter on how much emphasis to give to the worldly traditions of the easter bunny and all that comes with that vs. the true meaning of Easter which is the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We also had fun with some friends at a park coloring eggs and playing on the playground, baseball, and all other sports imaginable. This was a lot of fun and we are grateful for good friends that we could spend time with on this weekend.

Sunday, April 15, 2012. Brayden's 1st Lost Tooth. For a while now Brayden has shown us how loose his bottom two teeth have been and we have wondered when they are going to come out. Well IT HAPPENED! Last night Logan and him were doing some wrestling, a very common activity in our home, and one of the teeth fell out. For a while we couldn't find it and then we heard Brayden shouting "I found it! He was shocked because it seemed so much smaller than he thought it should be. To all you professional tooth f...

Sunday, February 24, 2013. Cruise Ends - Disney World Begins. We were able to witness a parade with all the main characters which was a blast, Brayden and Logan were in a live pirate training class with Captain Jack Sparrow himself, and they got to play on Tom Sawyer's island which we have never done before. Overall this trip has been AMAZING! Sunday, February 3, 2013. Disney Cruise - DAY 4. This was such a fun island. As we were walking in we saw Goofy and couldn't help but get a picture. It's All Dunn: Still here!
http://travisandrobindunn.blogspot.com/2009/05/still-here.html
Just living, loving and laughing! Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Just been very busy over the past few months. With a new puppy, work trip to France and vacation to Florida we've been going, going, going. Oliver is doing great! Save money, get a puppy! Not so much, we never realized all the expenses that would come with this little bundle of energy, but he is worth every penny. Now that he is almost 6 months old, he is finally pretty close to being done with all of his vaccines and check-ups too.
