The Sorensens: August 2012
http://iancristina.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
It's a Family Thing. August 30, 2012. Lots of kids have imaginary friends. It fosters creativity and, hello, imagination. Holly's imaginary friends are generally princesses or unicorns. Atley's imaginary friends are usually based on whatever TV show he's been watching lately. Apart from his actual friends (mentioned here. Atley has been making lots of imaginary friends, too! Here's an example of the "magic.". Well, there is one character that takes the bad behavior to the extreme- blue bird! She's always...

The Sorensens: February 2012
http://iancristina.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
It's a Family Thing. February 29, 2012. Do you celebrate Groundhog day? I never really have. Florida doesn't have seasons so six weeks of more/less winter doesn't make much of a difference. In Rexburg it was a life saver to think the winter might be over sooner rather than later, but in my heart I knew it would go on until at least May! In England however, there is hope for spring before summer! Unfortunately they don't celebrate Groundhog day. Rats! Big furry rats.or should I say groundhogs! Receive sma...

The Sorensens: A Hobby from the Good Old American West
http://iancristina.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-hobby-from-good-old-american-west.html
It's a Family Thing. October 6, 2012. A Hobby from the Good Old American West. My Dad has been on this mania. He's getting back into leather work. He's made wallets, a purse, and keychains in large proportions as gifts for his children and grandchildren over the last year or so. He used to do it when he was younger and with a little encouragement from yours truly, he's picked it back up. What's the best thing about my Dad's rediscovered hobby? Look at that face! Again, loving that face! A Week in Review.

The Sorensens: December 2012
http://iancristina.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
It's a Family Thing. December 23, 2012. November is our other birthday month. Ian and I in September followed by both kids in November. We had two great family parties with them. Check this out! Grandma made a blue castle cake by Atley's request. Obviously he loved it. And I loved on him. The knight conquered the castle cake pretty well. Followed by the cutest little squeal. Loved it. Holly's cake was pink and purple. That's what you get when you ask a 3 year old what kind of cake she wants. It was the p...

It's a Family Thing. October 31, 2011. Warning: This is a potty post. If you don't want to hear it, don't read it. You can scroll down to the bottom of the post and watch the fun video. Also,. Don't become a parent because well that's what parents have to deal with. Thanks for the diaper change." It was so sweet. He was perfectly happy keeping things as they were. Last week, I got tired of waiting. Diapers in England are more expensive then at home. Atley's birthday is tomorrow (crazy, right? Way too goo...

The Sorensens: March 2012
http://iancristina.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
It's a Family Thing. March 28, 2012. This is Ian. He is 26 years old and getting better with age! He is the love of my life. One thing he has noticed about the English, is they aren't very keen on basketball at all. The other people vying for the court are usually Chinese. They all want to be like Jeremy Lin or Yao Ming. If there are English people on the court they are usually using it for something else like badminton or hockey. Mine would taste as good, but it never looks as good. March 25, 2012.

It's a Family Thing. October 11, 2012. Take Me Out to the Ball Game! Here are a couple pictures of Cristina and I back in our baseball playing days. It had a museum dedicated to the game, and it had a tank full of various types of rays- the sea animal- that you could feed and touch. So after exploring the unique aspects of this park, we settled in for the game. The game featured the home-town team versus the Baltimore Orioles at Tropicana Field. In front of the ballpark. A conenose ray in the tank. One t...
