Wednesday, September 29. Hugo Boss Orange, perfume box. Lithographic, rotary, mass produced, not a great amount of detail. There is obvious spot colour where the orange was used for the logo, as a finish there is also UV varnish over that. Along the edges of the box there is gold foil. A total of 3 colours were used, there were all spot colour, black, orange (and half tone) and grey. Probably printed onto large sheets, or any format of 'A'. The card is folded, then tabbed and glued. Monday, September 27.

I think majority of these are ugly. the pictures are too harsh and there is lack of defining which is hierarchy out of the text. I also think there is a clash of so many different colours. Some as well I think have too much information on. My favoured ones are:. More structure, clearer, bit more simple, colours all work better. This is what I like, I want to apply it to film mags:. Wednesday, 25 May 2011. WEBSITE FOR ROOT, alterations. I decided to change the homepage images. At the moment I had half photographs, half images that could represent each designer. I think the images for each designer are better, they demonstrate the type of work we like individually, in a cheerful way. I thought this page was a bit dull, so I brightened it up a bit. Page with mock up stickers and magnets. I am going to photograph these so they appear to be stickers and magnets, I'm not actually going to make them.
