Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. After visiting the butterfly center. We headed out for a big family bike ride. It’s pretty hilly, but the kids did surprisingly well with the hills. We then headed over to the circus tent to see the circus (more on that in a future post). After the circus, we were all feeling the heat. When you’re hot, it’s nice to cool off with a Hawaiian Ice treat (or a giant bag of popcorn if you’re Jen). Table of Contents for Callaway Gardens 2015. I love the circus.

Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. Our pictures on Flickr. All of our pictures are now found on Flickr. The old Digital Scrapbook here served us well for years, but it was definitely showing its age. Flickr gives us many advantages, including:. Storing full size images for anyone wanting to print copies. Allowing comments so you can tell us how wonderful we look. Even order prints to be shipped to you or picked up at Target. Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. Posted in Family visits. On August 13th, 2016 by c-had – Be the first to comment. Sunday we had some relaxing time in the lake house before cleaning up and heading to the airport. Naturally, the girls organized a coronation. Here come the princesses. Queen Molly and King Rhino crowned the two princesses. The entire royal family, including Great Queen G’Mom and Prince JJ as well. And then we headed home to Maryland. Thanks for all the water fun! The kids started...

Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. Tuesday after camp there was plenty of fun for the whole family. First, we all went for a scavenger hunt through the Sibley Horticultural Center. At Callaway. Leah volunteered to be our scribe as we looked for plants based on the clues we were given. We had to write down the names of the plants and a secret letter on their signs, which we later used to decode a secret message. JJ was the first winner at Bingo, though I’m not sure how happy he was about it.

Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. Not only did we watch the circus, we got to try performing ourselves. Monday afternoon (after kayaking, tennis, arts and crafts, and lunch. Jen and I headed to the circus tent to learn some circus skills. First, we tried out the cloud swing. Jen went first. Moments before this, she was sitting on the rope. Then she threw herself backward, catching herself with her feet while hanging upside down. Here’s my heel hang, though I couldn’t hold it any longer than Jen.

Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. Camp didn’t start till Monday, so we used Sunday to have some fun on our own around Callaway. First stop for these cousins was the Day Butterfly Center. Uncle J and JJ watch as the butterflies dance around. Emmie managed to coax this butterfly onto her finger. This is also a rare picture of me in the reflection. Outside the butterfly center was a perfect place for a family picture of everyone. Table of Contents for Callaway Gardens 2015. I love the circus.

Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. Weren’t the only ones to enjoy TreeTop. In fact, Molly was actually the first of us to enjoy it. Monday, while on our kayaking outing. We paddled over to TreeTop’s location. There we found Molly and her group on the ropes course. She was a bit surprised to see us, but didn’t let that distract her from her climbing. Leah figured out she could make a heart with her safety ropes and carabiners. Molly was a pro, having done the course before. I love the circus.

Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. The drive to Highlands. The drive to Highlands was only about 4 hours long, but that doesn’t mean nothing worth writing about happened. On the way to Highlands, we needed to make a bathroom break. When we discovered the rest stop was closed, we were forced to stop at one of my old favorite places that does not exist in Maryland - Krystal. Home of Jen, Chad, Molly, and Leah Sellers. We missed tennis Tuesday due to a scavenger hunt (details to come), but headed back on Wednesday. Yet again, Leah was all alone for her tennis lesson. Molly wasn’t too tired to play tennis this time. She had a different time for her age group, and was the only one to show up as well. Private lessons all around.
