I don't think that I will have time to write about our team final swim untill I get home. but I wanted to let you know that I am so far having the time of my life in Thailand! Today we went on a few river boat rides, rode an elephant through the jungle, and then petted tigers! Tomorrow we are off to some Thai island. My journey during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. It's official. One last practice in Korea and then we are off to Beijing! This morning we had a pretty successful mock meet. We warmed up with counts just like we would on game day, and then used the 15 minutes of music time that we will be allowed before we compete. The airline lost my luggage that I will need for my 25 day long vacation after the Olympics, and they were dealing with it at the airport. Let me start filling you all in from this morning, even though this morning seems like it was 3 days ago! So each country was allowed 8 minutes of music time this morning. It was great to be in the bird's nest one more time with my team-mates, what's left of the US delegation, and all the other athletes here in Beijing. The Opening Ceremonies were just as amazing as I had hoped they would be! As I write this you’ve probably just finished watching them, so you have an idea of what I'm talking about.
