Monday, 28 March 2011. This past weekend, March 19th and 20th was an amazing weekend! We had gorgeous weather here after a week of rain and clouds off and on. The weekend brought 80 degree weather again, sun, and a new adventure for me. Saturday was a day full of phone calls to friends back home as well as running errands around the city. I spent the rest of the afternoon reading a book in the park and going out for dinner with friends. Sunday the adventure began! We found our way to the town,. And walke...

Monday, 14 March 2011. Wow - I'm officially a working lady :) I applied for a job about a week and a half ago at a Childcare Center. I was very straight forward and told her I had no idea what I was doing, how long I would be here, whether or not I could even work there on my visa, etc. She rang me up, and called me in for an interview the next day! 30 minutes later, I was offered a job as a full time qualified group leader for a 3yr old classroom! Of course I accepted! Outside Flinders Street Staion.
