Thursday, June 12, 2014. On Sunday morning we took Mabel's new bike seat our for a spin. The troubling part of this process was not the bike tune-ups or figuring out how to attach the seat. She weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces (4 ounces more than her big brother! And was 17.5 inches long. In the operating room and among the nurses over the next three days she fittingly earned the nickname "Peanut .". We have waited so long to have little Maeby. Here with us and to hold and kiss her. It has been a big year for this kid, and I believe it speaks to his inherent goodness and to his character that he has handled it so seamlessly. We love you, little Henry. Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Last night Josh called from the hospital to say goodnight to Henry. During the conversation he was paged and had to get off the phone abruptly. Here is the conversation Henry and I had in the minutes after hanging up with Dad. Henry: Why did you hang up the phone? Me: Because Daddy had to go help somebody. Henry: Because somebody is sick?
