Welcome to the C47 Cafe. We came to Ste. Mere Eglise in 2005 and having brought the home, we realised the potential of the old empty stable block that came with the house, facing the famous church. Not withstanding the complete lack of catering experience, it was to become a cafe! Arriving in April, meant we had barely 2 months in which to convert an empty shell into a fully functioning establishment, that was to provide fast healthy food, the complete range of specialist coffees and wine and beer.
