It's been nearly two months now since the cold drove us from the cabin up to the big house where the luxuries of insulation, heat, and a fireplace awaited. I didn't know about the country circus but apparently, much like touring seasonal carnivals (with which I am familiar,) there are circuses that run the circuit, throwing up the big tent in each little town for one day of festive showmanship.
