Daily Life in Arizona's High Country. Friday, November 8, 2013. What I Will Miss About California. The trees on our street display the change in the air, and in our lives. We are planning to move out of Southern California. This is such a big step for Mozart and I as we have lived here our entire lives. Yet I'm very excited about making this change, and especially living out in a rugged territory, closer to nature. But no matter where I live, there is no place like California and I will miss it.

I have a doctor appointment, I'll be back before lunch.". Then I headed into town for the appointment. About 60 "hot rods" are making a trip from Texas to California, and decided to stop off in Prescott to visit a very good friend, Jack, who lives next door to us. This statement should make me feel honored and special, but why does it make me feel like a Muslim wife? Its my stubborn heart that tells me I belong to ME. I guess its the way of the world that drills into us women that we are nobody's. We really have to adjust our way of thinking to wrap our heads around this thought. He wants you to enjoy life, not just endure it.

I was having one of those 'lip-out - woe-is-me - I - only-want- my-way' sort of moments and I was feeling blue. Funny how the reading was about making God smile! The smile of God is the goal of your life. Ooops, couldn't even focus on making myself smile let alone God. God smiles when we love him supremely. God smiles when we obey him wholeheartedly.
