Five Crossings After 50. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Waynesboro VA, 848.1. After checking in we took showers, got laundry done, and then went to the Pizza Hut buffet lunch. We think we will go to some type of Asian buffet for supper. We just seem to have great appetites lately. I will try to catch up since our last post from Daleville. We did a short day of 13.2 miles on 5-26 as the temps climbed into the 80's and we had a huge climb if we were going to go on any further. 1 Picture of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We have been enjoying some fabulous weather and are starting to put some miles on even though we are both a little tired. We left Stratten on the 24th and hiked over the Bigelows. Monday, March 30, 2009. 37 Riding days, 4 Days off, just under 2800 miles, 9 states, and 3 flats (all in two days) = San Diego CA to St Augistine FL and completion of Crossing # 3. Both Patty and I finished safely yesterday. Patty was a little ahead of me and was sitting on the beach at Anastasia State Park when I arrived.
