Let him be outside as much as possible. Speech development will continue as he continues to improve vocabulary and clarity of speech. Sunday, November 15, 2009. Haircuts.at age 5. So most kid's do it, right? That is, CUT THEIR OWN HAIR! Well my number 3 has taken her turn! Kiera and Thatcher have already done this. We did just that with this result - taking a couple inches off when I got home. I know it's not the best cut, but I cannot reward her for this, so she gets a "mom cut" for now and maybe sometime in the future (way in the future) we'll head to Michelle for her to fix it!
