Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Now we will probably ride longer days in the flat country of Tabasco and the Yucatan peninsula until we hit the Mayan ruins of Calakmul and then the Caribbean coast. March 18, 2010 at 8:47 AM. Hey Eric - Did you have any sense that this area was dangerous for touring cyclists? Hear anything to that effect?
