But what does the music sound like? While the above description may seem quite abstract, the music is wholly accessible. It could easily be played at an evening party and no one would be the...

Velocio: Fear and Awe in the Heart of the Alps
http://velocio.blogspot.com/2014/09/fear-and-awe-in-heart-of-alps.html
Skiing, Climbing, Cycling, etcetera. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Fear and Awe in the Heart of the Alps. The ridge down from the Aiguille du Midi. A Man with a Plan. It turned out to be a perfect day. I was delighted that my guide was older than I am! Richard Parker was sixty, and radiated calm and skill in equal measures. Velocio: March 2007
http://velocio.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Skiing, Climbing, Cycling, etcetera. Monday, March 26, 2007. Spring 200k Brevet (in 2006). Do you think we'll pay for this later? You never know, so I got up at 5:15 anyway, looked out the window, and saw clear roads. So I drove down to Westfield, MA, and got ready to ride. I was running a bit late, and didn't really have time to chat before the ride, which is unfortunate as I usually don't see most of the folks again! But today would be a little different. Eventually rode in with Wayne, had a nice chat.
