The Caedmon Choir

The Caedmon Choir is a community choir which was formed in 1987. We meet on Tuesday evenings during term-time and occasionally during school holidays. We take our name from the Caedmon Hall in Gateshead Central Library, Tyne and Wear, where we rehearsed until 2005, when we moved into The Sage Gateshead. In November 2012 we were delighted to return to the Caedmon Hall for one evening, when we performed a concert to celebrate our 25th birthday. Our musical director is Eleanor Mooney. The first 25 years.
