Serve in small portions - 12 servings from a 10 inch spring form pan. 3/4 C heavy cream. 1 1/2 C milk (1% is OK). 6 large egg yolks. 2/3 C packed light brown sugar. 1 t vanilla extract. 1 T instant espresso powder. 4 T unsweetened cocoa powder. 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped (85% cocoa butter). 3 T unsalted butter. This is our variation on a recipe that originally appeared in the September 1986 of Bon Appetit. 9 teaspoons capers, drained. 6 large garlic cloves. 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice. 4 teaspoons olive oil. 24 large uncooked shrimp in shell. 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon well-chilled unsalted butter. 5 anchovies, coarsely chopped. 1-2/3 cup dry white wine.
