Running Junkie: October 2013
http://runningjunkie123.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 25, 2013. Spicing Up Your Workouts. My workouts this week have been amazing! I have been excited to do every single one that I had planned. As a runner, I think it's extremely easy to become bored with your routine, especially when we're training for an event. Everyday, day in and day out, we run. As much as I love running, it becomes sort of like a chore when I'm seriously into my training. Too bad. Suck it up. You ain't made of sugar. Bring some chap stick. Oh, so you're tired? Not only...

Hungry Delights: WIAW ~ Episode 28
http://hungrydelights.blogspot.com/2013/05/wiaw-episode-28_22.html
Wednesday, 22 May 2013. My eating habits since the wedding have been so-so. I find myself going ahead and having that second helping, adding more cheese to a dish than is asked for. picking up a bag of m&m's while grocery shopping. While all these things are perfectly fine in moderation. I feel my pants tightening a bit (it could also have to do with the multiple weekends of social outings I have had over the last month). How beautiful does my breakfast look! Wasn't a huge fan of this one). Oh yum it all...

I just don’t know…. 2 I made a mistake in last week’s post. I didn’t start my half marathon plan this week, because I actually start it next Monday, the 13th. On Wednesday, I went to Athletic Annex. Very helpful, but a little intimidating, I must say. I now have my first pair of Brooks, and I’m ready to start training! 6 I have a se...

Running Junkie: Love Rox Half Marathon & A Sweet Treat
http://runningjunkie123.blogspot.com/2014/02/love-rox-half-marathon-sweet-treat.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Love Rox Half Marathon and A Sweet Treat. Sunday was the day I've been working towards for the past 3 months. The Love Rox 1/2 Marathon in Richmond, VA. As you can see from the lack of people at the start line, it wasn't a very big race. I lined up with the other 500 runners at 10 AM.anxious to PR. And while I did PR. It definitely wasn't what I was looking for. My loose goal was to run around 8:00-8:10 miles. My main goal was to race hard, and race strong. I do really love ...

Running Junkie: Leg Day.
http://runningjunkie123.blogspot.com/2014/04/leg-day.html
Thursday, April 24, 2014. I've been meaning to post for weeks now, but things around here have been SO busy. Obviously, since we last spoke, I've been running. I recently switched my running to the mornings and I have been loving it! There isn't a better way to start the day. Plus, Pennsylvania Avenue/Capitol Hill is usually packed with runners, so I'm not alone! Isn't it so beautiful and peaceful before the sun comes up? Also on my workout agenda these days? 8-12 reps, 3-5 sets of every move. My name is...
