Some say that Thanksgiving smells like turkey and stuffing, Christmas like eggnog and pine needles. I happed to think this time of year smells like wrapping paper and smog. Don't get me wrong. When it comes to Turkey Day or the Big X, I love the intended spirit, the warmth, the familiness, the abundance of good food. But this year, well, it's not the same.
