Saturday, August 31, 2013. The End of Summer. You can almost see the end of summer in the sky. The Boys wanted to take the Sailboats out on the pond before it got too cold. They spent the whole day with their friend Spencer until it got dark. It's always hard to say goodbye to Summer. Saturday, August 24, 2013. Trek at This is the Place. The kids had a youth conference today it was a One day trek at. This is the place monument. They left early this morning and had a really great day! First stop: THE BEACH.

Saturday, December 26, 2015. The Savior of The World. The day after Christmas we took the kids to see "The Savior of the World". Two friends of ours were in the program so we wanted to see them. What a great way to keep the Christmas Spirit going after Christmas. The play is very well written and performed very professionally. What a great event! Friday, December 25, 2015. Monday, July 29, 2013. Tahoe City biking on the lake. The Lake Tahoe Bike Coalition has undertaken a monumental bike trail project. Their goal is to provide residents and visitors a safe and convenient trail to be able to walk or ride bikes around the lake. The trail even extends up the Truckee River. I'm not sure the total miles of trails that exist but it makes for a very fun vacation when you have bikes. We camped at William Kent Campground. Right across the street from the campground is a beach area.

Then on February 5th we heard from the Bishop that the boys were assigned. From the time we heard that the boys were given mission assignments we have all been on pins and needles. And the runner up was the "Y" glove. I was so excited for Thanksgiving because we had a Family Picture planned! Poor Nathan he had an accident and his eye (left eye) was in recovery!
