Here You see Loch Insh on the left, through the trees. The Church is on a hill with quite a few steps up to the churchyard from the road which is at the level of the loch. Access by car is from the camera viewpoint side, into a small car park at the top next to the church. My second visit to an elevated view of Loch Avon. I had set out to try and reach Loch Etchachan but heavy weather on the climb up from the car park at the Ski Center deterred me from that idea so I cut across to look down on Loch Avon again but this time from closer to the top of the Loch. Welcome to Cairngorms Eco House. The project is to build a new house on the site of an old ruin close to Wester Rynabeallich, Cromdale which is 5 miles from Grantown-on-Spey and 17 from Aviemore. It is a stunning site in the Cromdale Hills within the Cairngorms National Park. This is the view the house will have onto the Cromdales:.
