The Thrilling Life of Caitlin. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Ah the Holidays. The last week has been a great one. Lindsay had Dallen on Monday! I've never eaten that type of food, or anything even close to it ever before, and was very pleasantly surprised. It was a great dinner. I really love his aunt and uncle, they're very fun people to visit with. They're so friendly and just have so many fun stories. They lived in Scotland for 2 years! And finally, connecting to the title of this blog, it snowed today!

I am a Senior Associate at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. And an Assistant Professor in Environmental Health and Engineering. At the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I’m interested in using computational methods to understand how infectious diseases, behaviors, and ideas spread in populations. My research is focused on outbreak science, or the modeling and simulation of emerging infectious diseases. I am also interested in biosecurity and science policy.
