June 29th, 2010. Dandelions and bumblebees mark your grave. The last time I saw you was laughing and smiling and ready to go away for the weekend. The last time I talked to you, you were standing in line for a roller coaster. Then I saw your body as fine gray ash being poured into the ground. The hole was refilled with dirt, the surface grass replaced. Gradually, the grass grew to fill in the gaps between what was dug up and what remained undisturbed. The hole in my heart remains. Tuesday, December 25, 2007. So i attempted to take all the girls' portraits before the semester was over. this wasn't fully accomplished due to my laziness.and was further hindered by the complete destruction of my second computer screen. these are the last batch of photos on my camera from africa, ones that aren't currently inaccessible because they're not on my computer. i'll try to salvage the others within the coming weeks. hopefully this will suffice. The sky did look really far away.
