9829;Welcome to my blog! Experiment with and explain how Newton's Laws of Motion apply to the physical world. Problem: What impact does the length of the wood have on the distance it travels? Hypothesis: I believe the smaller pieces of wood will travel farther because they are lighter. I believe this because it seems easier to slide a lighter object across a table rather than one with more mass. IV: The length of wood. DV: How far the wood travels (inches). 1x2 piece of wood. 1x4 piece of wood. Hypothesi...

Caitlin's Blog :): September 2010
http://caitlinblog3.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
9829;Welcome to my blog! Thursday, September 2, 2010. This piece symbolizes many things from Animal Farm by George Orwell. As in how power disrupted the lives of the animals. Take the three pigs for example. All started out with pure hearts but the thought of all the power they could withhold put them into a battle against one another. Doing things they never would have imagined before. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Despair -loss of hope. To fascinate, create curiositty, capitivate. To mislead by trickery.

9829;Welcome to my blog! Thursday, April 28, 2011. Authors note: this poem is inspired by the Truman Show. It is basically about how is this world all real or just a figment of my imagination. I am not particularity proud of this piece, but it was a difficult subject to wrap my mind around in text. This life is all I have ever known. But I remain lost. Each step of the way I question of reality. I struggle to remain in tact. To keep from fraying. Do I even exist? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

9829;Welcome to my blog! Authors Note: This poem was just about how sometimes we don't even give people a chance, and sometimes the things that seem so minor to us could really be hurting the other person. The innocence within the flower hides. A frost bitten blossom caused by wind. The never forgiving wind that strides;. A fresh petal from its stem. A shivered, ruthless, hollow form. It stands so high compare to thee;. And mocks the seed, which yet it’s torn. Its dry and lifeless guaranty. I will succes...

http://caitlinblog3.blogspot.com/2011/01/art-is-unspoken-language.html
9829;Welcome to my blog! Monday, January 3, 2011. Art is the Unspoken Language. Instead of requiring students to describe how they felt when they looked at a piece of art, they should be given a choice between responding with literature, or art based on what they are more comfortable with. By making your own piece of work you can express your feelings more easily, and still show the symbolism and and message you got out of the piece. March 15, 2011 at 8:18 AM. March 21, 2011 at 8:24 AM. There was an erro...

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Friday, June 3, 2011. At the end of the year. Authors note: This closure piece is a reflection over the past two years I have been in middle school with Mr. Johnson. As much as I look forward to high school, part of me wishes I could stay in middle school just for the sake of still having Mr. Johnson as my English teacher. As cliché as it sounds, it is difficult to see how my two years of middle school. Have passed by so quickly. I had Mr. Johnson now. So now as I look forward t...

9829;Welcome to my blog! Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Authors note: Do you remember those days in spring that were so warm that you truly thought maybe summer is here? Well I do. My inspiration for this poem was one of those day.The kind that made you really truly believe spring is over, but then the next day the rain and storms are back. Misfit days filled with warm summer air. No more snow to cover the ground,. A layer of green grass is revealed. Replaced by the dark and dreary sky. Of a flawless summer day.

Kelsey's Blog: Finally Truth
http://kelsey-kesl.blogspot.com/2011/04/finally-truth.html
Sunday, April 17, 2011. Authors note: This poem represents all the lies that had been told to Truman. There are two quotes that the director of the show said in the movie that showed his need for control over the show and Truman. I incorporated both of them into the poem. Also, the last line was not spoken in the movie, but it seemed as though it should be assumed. O're the ocean he traveled to see. That which had made him what he be. That which has almost been his death. Of all the lies ever was told.
