I oredered flooring for the bedrooms and bathrooms this morning - and a bathroom vanity! The master bedroom now has a ceiling. We got this awesome tongue and groove paneling - NC pine. It's absolutely gorgeous in real life. The downstairs corner where our kitchen will be. Staircase will be against the left wall. By hand at home.

I was talking to my dad on the phone the other day, and as I was gushing on and on about the first leaves popping out on the apple trees I bought and planted, he responded with a "what did you expect to happen?
