Fast forward a year. My '07 Fit has 37,000 miles on it, so I need new tires. I went to Tire Rack. To look at options and was horrified at how poorly the Dunlop SP31 tires scored on various tests and surveys. I'm not saying the accident was completely the tires' fault, but I now realize I didn't need a refresher in winter driving, nor did I need to baby my car in winter weather: I just needed good tires on it. I just joined a few minutes ago. I never really thought I'd join a community for my car, but I just love my Fit! I'm a bit of a geek, so of course I named her. Her name is Eve, although I call her Eva a lot since I named her after the robot in Wall-E. Yes, I am a bit ridiculous. She's a very lovely orange, although she's a bit dirty right now, since I can't get her to a car wash. I'm just so used to cars having that light that it's been a little hard to adjust to! I still owe pictures of the Harlaxton grounds, I know, but for now, I'm going to post pictures from our trip to Bath Sept. 5-7. We visited the Roman baths, of course. The more beautiful parts were actually added later, after the excavations. This is the super-sacred bath, which is also super-steamy, I guess. We also visited the Bath Abbey. Oh, and us.
