Thursday, May 1, 2014. April 30th flooding and storm. I feel so bad for all those affected by tornadoes, storms and flooding this week. Yesterday our county was really hit hard and I just wanted to say a few things from listening to the scanner and news. Never drive through the water on the road when you can't see if there's a sinkhole or you never know if a rush of water could come in and trap you. Sunday, June 14, 2015. I love mornings and coffee. My daughter thinks I'm funny, because I put the coffee in a teapot to pour it in the cup sometimes. Well, I couldn't believe it, on one of the jobs they used to wash their own uniforms, but had started taking them to the dry cleaners. When he brought in the washing machine and dryer they were practically new Maytags for free. I know the Lord works in mysterious ways, but I'll tell you this was totally out of the blue. cake and cup
It has been a really, really long time. I gave up here, stopped spending so much time on the computer (major plus), then eventually wanted to get back into blogging, started a new blog, gave up on that, and then over coffee this morning I browsed back through these old posts. I realized what a nice space I'd created here, a place of simple honesty and shared moments. And I wanted to come back. Links to this post. A long, long break!
